Cuts quicker and closer than my Remington 3-head ever did, battery level indicator is a very nice and easy to read feature. USB charging was a little bit of a surprise but probably better than another AC adapter.
Hoping the quality holds up.
It's been working great for 4 years. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the little popup trimmer thingy doesn't stay latched down. An unfortunately poorly design latch failed after a year. But I just keep some rubber bands wrapped around it.
I have had $100+ expensive shavers and both foil and rotary styles. This is an amazing little piece of equipment! I bought my first one back in 2018 and bought one set of replacement shaving heads in the past four years. I can say that, for me, this is by far the best value. The battery life is very long. Will last several days using 5-7 minutes per day. Those of you with heavy beards may be more demanding but you should give this a try. I want to say also that it is still holding a charge for a long time even though it is nearly 4 years old! I just bought another one so when the battery does finally finish its useful life, I can just jump into the new one. For this price, I would recommend that you just buy a whole new shaver rather than the replacement blades, but you be the judge. I am very happy and will continue buying as long as they make this version. I don't write reviews very often but I had to weigh in on this amazing shaver. You will not be disappointed.
Having recently turned 70 years old, I'm not a great fit for the hairy-face trend. But using a razor once or twice a day was becoming a real drag. Then I saw the barber doing electric shaves in his shop.
A bulb flashed. Time for me to try going electric. Guess what, I like it.
After much research into all brands and price ranges, I decided to try inexpensive first. Do I went by reviews, and the Phisco Electric Shaver Razor for Men with Floating Rotary Razor Ipx7 Led Display Rechargeable came out as a powerful match for the ultra expense units. I bit the bullet.
Wow. This thing works like a charm. Keeps me clean shaven with ease. Charge holds for days. And because I now shave daily, it's a quick, ease process that saves time and effort. Best of all. If I need a bit of shaving cream to smooth the ride, the Phisco Electric Shaver Razor for Men with Floating Rotary Razor Ipx7 Led Display Rechargeable doesn't care. Works just as well wet as dry.
This, my friend, is an excellent choice for your first or your last electric blade.
Five stars but only a few weeks of use while traveling. "As advertised" because the features and information on Amazon are correct and several appealed to me. I've used rotary electrics so my face is used to that kind of cutter. My Norelco has 3 rows of slots to capture hair, so I like the wider 2 rows of slots on the Phisco. The 3000 rpm is very quiet but powerful. I can't measure closeness of the shave but it seems equivalent to previous rotaries. The power button is located under the head where you hold the shaver, but it's harder to push on/off so you don't accidently turn off the razor. Pop-up trimmer is nice. "Floating" heads follow contour of face OK and smoothly, even if you press harder. Got extra blades (on sale) that are 1/4 the cost of Norelco replacements. Most other Amazon shavers don't offer replacement heads. "Faucet" icon appears about every 3 shaves to rinse blades. I lock off the power while traveling. No "cons" except it doesn't come with the wall USB plug, just the cord. No big deal. So I call it a good value, L-ion battery shaver, nice style and available replacement heads. This is not a paid commercial.
